RAVA LADOO

You can make the most delicious Rava Ladoos using our finest, cut Rava or semolina. loaded with dry fruits and flavored with dollops of ghee, here’s the perfect snack for the beginning a sweet week.

RECIPE CARD FOR RAVA LADOO:

INGREDIENTS:

  • Bombay Rava: 2 Cups
  • Sugar: 1.5 cups
  • Ghee: 4 Table Spoon
  • Cardamom: 1 pinch
  • Dry Grapes and Cashew for garnishing

METHOD:

  • Add ghee in a pan and heat it.
  • Fry Rava till it turns aromatic. Keep stirring while frying to avoid the rava from getting burnt.
  • Keep this aside.
  • Pour ghee in a tawa and gently fry the dry fruits till they turn golden brown. We will be using this to add a crunchy flavor to the laddoos.
  • Pour these dry fruits into the tawa containing rava.
  • Take another vessel and prepare sugar syrup by taking 1.5 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Further boil this for about 5 minutes or till you get one string consistency.
  • Add cardamom powder to the prepared sugar syrup.
  • Pour the rava and the sauted dry fruits into the above vessel containing the sugar syrup.
  • Keep this aside for 5 minutes and make fine balls.
  • Delicious Rava Ladoos aare ready to be served.

STORAGE TIPS:

  • Store the Rava Ladoos in an air tight container.
  • These Ladoos can be stored for upto 15 days.
