Herbal Kashaya which we at home call as Ajja’s Kashaya(because our Grandfather loves to have this), is a herbal preparation of the decoction of Cumin seeds is a medicinal solution and a quick home remedy that is used to reduce ailments of the digestive system in the field of traditional Ayurveda.
Our essential Indian spices are useful to relieve nausea and vomiting, eases digestion and is used as a quick Ayurvedic remedy for constipation, diarrhoea and simple cough and cold. They also help in boosting immunity and can be consumed as an energy drink.

PREPARATION OF HERBAL KASHAYA:
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION OF HERBAL KASHAYA POWDER:
- 1 cup Kasturi Jeera/Cumin Seeds
- 3 cup Kasturi coriander seeds
- 1.5 tbsp Pepper Corns
- 2 tbsp cloves
- 2 tbsp Cardamom
- 2 tbsp Gokshura (Neggin Mullu)
- 2 tbsp Ashwagandha Powder
PREPARATION OF HERBAL KASHAYA POWDER:
- Gently dry roast the seeds on a low flame until they turn aromatic.
- Allow the roasted seed to cool down.
- Powder the seeds along with the Ashwagandha powder, to make a very fine powder.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION OF HERBAL KASHAYA:
- 1 Cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- Kasturi Jaggery
METHOD OF PREPARATION OF HERBAL KASHAYA:
- Take a spoon of the Herbal Kashaya powder with a glass of water and some Jaggery.
- Boil the mixture till the water level reduces by half, leaving behind a concentrated decoction.
- Sieve the decoction and add an equal amount of milk to it.
- Savour the Herbal Kashaya while its piping hot.
